Presentations

For this assignment, the class will be broken up into 4 different groups.  Each group will be responsible for creating a presentation corresponding to a particular section in the book.  These presentations will be presented to the class Next Wednesday October 3.  The presentation will have the following criteria:
1.) It will effectively present the information from the textbook section that you are assigned
2.) Each presentation must be 10-15 minutes in length
3.) Each person must be involved in all aspects of the creation/presentation of the project.
4.) Each presentation must have at least 3 sources cited in addition to the textbook and include 1 piece of media (video, audio, professionally made chart/graph, booklet, article, etc)
Effectively you are, as a group, "teaching" each other about your topics.  You should keep this in mind when you are creating this presentation as to make sure it will be helpful to the others.

Dates for submitting updates:
9/27 - blog response telling me your plans
10/01 - rough draft
10/3 - Presentations in my classroom

GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN WITH IT!

For our project we plan to create a powerpoint for the important information in Chapter 4 section 3. We each will present our part in the section that we did. We will try to be short and to the point. Then after we are done presenting we are going to play Jeopardy!

  3. We plan to make a PowerPoint similar to the ones we have when we do notes in class We will highlight the vocabulary of the section and talk about what happens during adolescence.
